Thank you..Thank you..Thank you

Dear Debby,
Just a short note to say thank you for picking Anna to come share the rest of her life with Don and I. She is absolutely one of the best things that has ever happened to us. Life would certainly be very dull without her.
She is my constant companion and I believe she was sent to me as my healer. She came at the time I was deep in Chemo treatment and I know she was partly responsible for keeping my spirits up and helping me maintain a positive attitude. She seems to know when I am sick and she immediately becomes my second layer of skin.
I am ever so grateful we were so ready to have a dog in our home when you were ready to place her with a family. We love her so much and can’t imagine our life without her. I admit that she is a little spoiled but she is just so darn loveable and cute, it just can’t be helped!!! She is on a 3 week grooming schedule so she looks gorgeous most of the time. She is very playful, extremely friendly and most of all, she makes us laugh.
Happiness rules in our house because of her.
Debby, thank you for sharing Anna with us. She is a beautiful addition to our household. I can’t believe that it is almost two years that we’ve had her. My, how time flies when you have something wonderful and beautiful in your life. That’s what the “Anna Banana” at our house.
Hugs and love,
Marie
Structure in Action

Also, I had a chance to look at STRUCTURE IN ACTION – THE MAKINGS OF A DURABLE DOG, by Pat Hastings with Wendy E. Wallace, DVM cVA and Erin Rouse
HIGHLY recommended for anyone with any interest in structure.
Should have taken a look at it last weekend during the Rocky Mountain Cluster, since there’s about 100 vendors! Before investing in an interesting looking book I like to see the book. The library has been my best resource, but this isn’t available through my library system or their extended system. So, I’ve ordered it, trusting Melissa’s evaluation. My only misgiving is….well, I’ve seen her judge Lhasa Apsos and she put up a class dog over a number of specials. That wasn’t the problem for me. The problem was the dog has shoulders that severely restricted his front reach.
Princess Elizabeth (?) and her Apso … 1936

When I asked Vickie about this, she replied:
One of those things that just arrived in my mail box <g> … through an eBay seller’s newsletter. The seller has both editions of this book available (British and American published) and, looking at it more closely, I now believe that it’s the younger princess, Princess Margaret Rose holding the *lovely* Apso …
Motel 6
Posted: March 4, 2011 Filed under: Lotsa Lhasa Info 1 CommentGot this in the mail and wanted to share. Motel 6 is a favorite of doggie people. When you pull into a Motel 6 late at night, it’s nice to know your dogs are welcome. It’s no fun cruising around, late at night, road tired, trying to find accommodations for both you and your dog/s! I love that they’re now the official lodging provider to the American Kennel Club. There’s never a Pet Fee and now the 1 pet per room restriction has been lifted. This would often be lifted if there was a dog show in the area, but now it’s lifted always!
