Handmade paper
Posted: June 28, 2010 Filed under: Apso Aficionados 1 CommentSeveral days ago Kathy sent me a post about a project she is working on. Her question if I was familiar with lokta paper, another treasure from the Himalayas, reminded me of Ceese. It was her quest to learn ancient paper making techniques in Thailand that led to her lifelong study of Tibetan religion.
Here’s the threads and sites Kathy shared:

Posted: June 25, 2010 Filed under: Apso Aficionados, Lotsa Lhasa Info 2 CommentsHeard from Alma:
Debbie, I took Roadie to the vet for a check up since he is now 6 years. He weighs 21.9 lbs, heart good, ears and Eyes good. He told me to wipe his teeth with a wash cloth ???? Don’t know about that (smile) I give him the denta stick by Pedigree after eating.
The groomer cut some of the hair off of eyes,, don’t know if it was an inverted cut or not. He looks like he is looking out from under an awning (smile). He looks something like Dante on your website.
Warmly,
So, I’m curious what the rest of you to maintain the health of your dog’s teeth.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Taktsang Dzong or Paro Taktsang (spa phro stag tshang / spa gro stag tshang), also known as Taktsang Monastery or the The Tiger’s Nest, is a prominent Tibetan Buddhist monastery of theNyingma (Red Hat Sect), located in the cliffside of the upper Paro valley, Bhutan. It was built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup (stag tshang seng ge bsam grub) cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three months in the 8th century. Padmasambhava is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan and is the tutelary deity of the country. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the thirteen taktsang or “tiger lair” caves in which he meditated.
