Thanks for posting this,Debby! The Tijeras Art Market World Music Festival was fantastic! We had so much fun, the music was wonderful, and I made lots of great contacts for future dog/pet portraits.
Tonight, I will be at a reception for my show opening at the Just Imagine Gallery, connected to the Tijeras Art Market. This show features mainly my still life paintings and other landscape and some critters. It will start tonight and go from October 1-26.
If you’re going to be in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta, take an afternoon drive and stop by. Lots of great stuff to see and do there and on down the Turquoise Trail!
Also, I was just notified that I have won a Judge’s Award for my dog portrait, Noble Hunter, in the annual, state-wide juried fine art show that’s presently hanging at the Inn at Rio Rancho through Oct. 31. Same applies: if you’re in town for the Balloon Fiesta, and staying up in RR, please stop by; it’s a great show! (I think my formal dog portrait is probably the first time such a painting has won an award at this show!)
It’s great to get an award and educate and elevate the status of dogs in this world!
