Pauline lives on Michigan’s upper peninsula, about 45 miles from the birthplace of this baby moose. Northern Exposure was one of my favorite TV shows, including the moose!

I responded to several comments this morning, which then pushed Katy’s recent comments off the sidebar. I don’t want those interested to miss her comments, both under Feeds and Feeding and Dr. Johanna Budwig!

Yak and more yaks

Had to share this neck scarf, made from yak and merino wool – Superyak by Karabella yarns. Kathy knitted it, complete with a pawprint button. When she gave it to me, it was nestled inside a piece of paper, made from a photo of yaks taken just outside Lakewood, Colorado.
