Nipper’s Nappers
Posted: March 7, 2009 Filed under: Lotsa Lhasa Info Leave a commentThought I’d pass this along…
Hello Debby,
I recently started a small business making Nipper’s Nappers (Sleep Sacks for Pets). The business started because of a Secret Santa project for Rat Terrier ResQ. I am trying to get the word out to small dog owners and I am hoping you can forward this to your breed club members. So far I have gotten very positive feedback from people that have purchased a Napper.
Nipper’s Nappers can be viewed at www.nippersnappers.etsy.com

Fleece Napper for pets up to about 18 pounds. Aprox. 24″ cuffed by 22″ wide.. Machine wash and dry – low temp. Every Napper is reversible.
A portion of each sale goes to Rat Terrier ResQ
Thank you in advance,
Vickey Meyer

Every year on the Sunday night before Groups at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the Dog Writers Association of America gets together in New York and gives out awards to authors of dog-related material for excellence in a number of categories. Winning an award – the Maxwell – is a great achievement for those people who work so hard to bring us interesting, challenging, or entertaining writings on dogs. Even just getting nominated is quite an honor. We are very pleased that several books associated with Dogwise Publishing have been nominated for awards this year including:
Some notable books published this past year by other companies that we are happy to see get this recognition are:

Kathy on…an outdoor bathtub!
Posted: March 2, 2009 Filed under: DRambles on Black Mountain 1 CommentMonday morning. Ah, how I would like to linger in my library. Spent the last hour in OneNote, putting together a timeline for next fall’s presentation on the Native Stock Committee and an update on the Gompas. The photo for my current layout sits mid-process; the image of Dale Chihuly’s sculpture will have to wait. Wanting to stay connected…what is that?…why is that? I simply had to share on the blog before proceeding with my day.
Stepping off the soapbox and into the tub! From Kathy:
This book is lovely…smiled when I saw the old bathtub photo…Kathy
