Is this breeding in the works? I really hope it’s successful. I am glad you are so carefully planning the full Gompa and the mixed Gompa and Fleetfire litters. Keep up the great work. It’s been a long labor of love, I know. Cathy

Yay! Hooray! We want pictures!! Congrats, Debby! None better in the whole world than you to arrange this marriage and continue to develop this line!

  3. lhasalhady says:

Yes, the breeding is in the works. Got the go ahead from Dr. Hess, after the results of yesterday’s progesterone testing, to breed the two today. Keep your fingers crossed!

Cahty and Katy and anyone that may have received notification of this Takpa x Danba page…I’ve got a question. This was suppose to be a ‘page’ within WordPress, rather than a ‘post’. Both look the same in format, but behind the scenes – so to speak – a page functions differently than a post. Comments aren’t allowed on pages….and I don’t think subscribers receive notification if I add a ‘page’ to the blog rather than a ‘post’. Did you receive notification? Or did you just happen to drop in and see what was new? I rather like the idea of the ability to comment and follow along with the breeding on that ‘page’. Hadn’t considered the possibility before… Seems like it could be fun to follow this breeding right here on this page, adding a nice touch. What do you think?

I got an notification through email that you had posted. I would love to be able to follow the story as it goes along. That would be great! Cathy

I received notification that there was a new post. The page that came up on my email, with the family tree, was slightly different in format than what was on the actual site, but the info was the same. Great to hear the breeding is a “go”! It will be wonderful to follow along!

Debby, I received an email of the great news which came up all alone on a page. When I clicked to read comments, it took me to your home page. When I clicked to read Amanda and Pam’s comments on itchy feet it took me to a new page that said “We’re sorry, we couldn’t find that profile. Perhaps you’d like to log in or sign up for an account?” Excited to see that Kipu’s mommy is continuing to do great and would love to see pictures! Sandy

I just happened to drop in because I am always hopeful that there will be more current information on what is going on in Lhasa-Gompa land. I have missed these conversations so much. I hope you will do whatever you can to keep us all apprised of what you are doing on an ongoing basis. I love your stories and your progress. I will tell Kam ma that his birthday present is that he will be a great grandpa.

Thanks for all the feedback. Sandy, make sure you click the thread itself (Itchy dog feet) rather than the person’s name, their quilt square or gravatar. If that doesn’t work let me know.
