Those shoes look even better from the inside, given the orthodics. Keens, they are. Or would that be keen? 🙂

Elliot is at the other end of the tunnel. He’d gone through minutes before and must not have liked the experience. So, I crawled in, attempting to encourage him to come to me. There is no pushing or pulling allowed, so…visiting, yes. Lori was holding Elliot at the entrance of the tunnel. He’s not in the tunnel; the behavior must be offered, not forced. She imitated his slow and steady heart rate, which told me he wasn’t afraid. He just wasn’t going in that tunnel again.

Per Melissa’s suggestion, I’ve made a small tunnel from a cardboard box. This week we’ve been doing a lot of homework with it. Last night I shortened to about 12 inches, which is where I’m going to leave it for now. He would work at the tunnel, with lots of hesitation. So, I’ve lowered the criteria. I want him to succeed and totally understand the jackpot comes from going *through* the tunnel.
