:Susan sent…Girl Scouts with Jackie Gleason
Posted: August 10, 2008 Filed under: Apso Aficionados 1 CommentSo, here we are as Girl Scouts getting our pictures taken at the Park
Sheridan Hotel with none other than Jackie Gleason.
Do NOT ask me what year this was….just call it “a long time ago”.
I’m thinking our Troop was 81.
Wellesley, Massachusetts.

So, Susan…where are you in this photo?
:Situpons
Posted: August 9, 2008 Filed under: DRambles on Black Mountain 4 CommentsA while back I uploaded photos sent by Kathy, Summer Crafts 101. She mentioned situpons, providing a link with instructions.
This morning I woke up early, finally ready to sort through my childhood photos. I knew it would take a certain mindset…and finally, it was okay. It’s the last bit of sorting needed for the organization system, Library of Memories, I’ve been working on since February. The fun stuff gets to start soon!! Anyway, here’s a photo of me (on the right) with my situpon, ready to head off to day camp.

:My Mom’s Hands…sent by Susan
Posted: August 7, 2008 Filed under: Apso Aficionados 2 CommentsJust recently my sister sent me this picture she took of my mom’s hands.
I so much wanted to add her hands to the thread on “Hands”.
Mom died last week, and I got sidetracked, but here is her contribution…

:Dog Sisters
Posted: August 6, 2008 Filed under: FFT Lhasa Apsos Leave a commentMegan and Mariah came from a litter of all sisters. Samantha Grace, better known as Samie, has been in her own home since she was old enough to leave her sisters. Candice remains with Julie. As mentioned, as pleaded for 🙂 in :Saturday, Nickleday, NickledayNot, Megan and Mariah are in need of homes for reasons having nothing to do with them.
I made a little Slide Show, hoping to pull at some heart strings, titled Dog Sisters.
Sister Samie…

:Rosie is looking for a Forever Home

Here’s what Julie has to say about Rosie:
Rosie is looking for a “forever home” A retired champion, Rosie is 3 1/2 years old. She is a typical lhasa in many ways. She is independent, loyal, can be wary of strangers and will let you know when someone is at the door. She loves to hang out on the couch, loves hugs, and gets along well with most other dogs (mine are male) Her worst trait is she can be a barker. She does not bark unnecessarily but when she hears something or see something unusual she will let you know it. Because of this I wouldn’t reccommend her if you live in a townhome or close set neighborhood. She is a small lhasa, about 12 lb, red/gold parti in color, and will be spayed.
