Maybe you’re wondering where I’ve been all weekend. Maybe not… Thursday, my sister-in-law Chris was diagnosed with another brain tumor. She will be undergoing brain surgery March 15. (Ginny and Tammy – let’s still alter clothes – it will be a long day and I have a feeling a trip – even a brief trip – over to Ginny’s sewing room will provide a little sanity for my own brain.) Julie had forwarded the following last week. I think it’s appropriate, even if I can’t get the graphics to wave and flicker.

Damn. I’m so sorry to hear this, Deb. Chris has been battling the disease for several years now and we were all hoping she’d be in the numbers (those surviving). Chris — and her family — are in our thoughts and prayers.
Well I am in the boat with you Debby….A very close friend last summer in Boston had the same surgery and a hysterectomy..She came thru it ok and is getting treatment….ugh…I can’t even talk about it….Right now I just try to breathe and pray and go to therapy….have to be a warrior…have to talk to myself constantly to remember who I am and how strong I am and keep going no matter what….have to help others….(and last week I went to a meeting in Oakland to stop the spray that the government wants to do every month for 5 yrs. (illegally) to eradicate the apple moth. But thats not what its about ….its about protecting private interests and making people rich…dropping pesticides from planes….no way!!!!!!!!!!!Like we don’t have enough crap out there in the food and the water….enough said…thoughts are with you…
