If this chef is good enough for the Dalai Lama, he’s good enough for you.

It’s raining cats and dogs…I am blogging…Kathy, this place looks wonderful…Have you been there? When I was in San Diego, I had several astrology readings with a specialized kind of Indian pundit called a nadi reading…actually he would be called a chayya shastri, which is the shadow…Traditionally your shadow is measured and the measurements are coordinated with these palm leaves on which Sanskrit is written. These leaves are thousands of years old. Where am I going with this? Well, Mr. Pandya didn’t read my shadow or take my thumbprint. But he was a 7th generation nadi reader and had these leaves in his family for generations. One of the things he said was I should live on the outskirts of a bigger city in Colorado..”with rivers and mountains, not so hot not so cold”..Does that sound like where you live?..With a restaurant like this and wonderful people like you and Debby and the Gompa dogs, except for the mountain lions, it sounds like a wonderful place to live!!!!!!!
While ya’ll were doggin’ it today, hubby and I had lunch at Tibet’s Restaurant and Bar on our way back from Boulder. The smell of curry and other spices as we walked in was wonderful! One of the first things we noticed was a photo of the Dalai Lama prominently displayed — not something allowed by the Chinese. The food was really good and the waitstaff quick/efficient. Definitely a place to wile away an afternoon!
