Debby on…IBC
Posted: October 7, 2007 Filed under: DRambles on Black Mountain 4 CommentsMany of you know that my sister-in-law was diagnosed several years ago with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. It’s a form of breast cancer that is considered stage 4 – the last stage – upon diagnosis. The cancer doesn’t grow tumor-style, instead the cells lay down in sheets. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please take 5 minutes and watch this excellent, informative piece. It could save the life of someone you know or love.
Couldn’t open…Do you have the web address?
Never mind…just did a search…never heard of this before….ok
My own mother died of breast cancer, and a good friend has had a recurrance after twenty years.
I am reminded to go and get another check up this year. Thanks. My prayers go out to your sister-in-law.
Just had my mammo on Thursday…my mother died from breast cancer in 1983…I still miss her loving heart and ready smile…because of Elisabeth Kubler Ross’s books, I became a Hospice Volunteer…Thanks Debby, for sharing and encouraging everyone to be tested.
