Flying into Paro, Bhutan…

Who Flies There: Druk Air, the national carrier. Why It’s Harrowing: Tucked into a tightly cropped valley and surrounded by 16,000-foot-high serrated Himalayan peaks, this is arguably the world’s most forbidding airport to fly into. It requires specially trained pilots to maneuver into this stomach-dropping aerie by employing visual flying rules and then approaching and landing through a narrow channel of vertiginous tree-covered hillsides. Only eight pilots in the world are qualified to make this landing.

Hello Debby, I just had to send this to you. Also to tell you I took Roadie to the vet today, he got his 3 year shot and the rabie shot. Also he is 23 and 1/2 lbs. Heart is good, the vet said he looks great. He gave him a ball which does not squeak. He said he gives out nothing with squeakers. He has taken too many out of stomachs. Roadie smells it and walks away. He has one ear that seems to get infected not badly though. I have a ear cream that he gave me.
I am teaching him to stand up on his hind legs to get something I might be giving him. Hoping him he will learn to sit on his hind legs.
I can’t believe this lady is 92, I guess there is still hope(smile). The soup looks good.
