Charlie’s Place

Another treasure I found sorting through junk mail in beautiful downtown Evergreen, Colorado was Charlie’s Place.

Charlie’s Place is a new, modern, county owned and managed animal shelter serving the residents of Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties. Charlie’s Place is located in Dumont, just 40 minutes west of Denver on the I70 corridor. They have dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes waiting for homes to call their own. All of the animals are spayed and neutered and current on vaccinations. Operating hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wed.-Sun.  303-679-2477
